Over the last few year's all of the horses have been involved in a number of film/documentary/mainstream TV work. It's always really interesting for the horses, handlers and crew and the way we manage the horses (barefoot, bitless and using positive reinforcement training) is always respected and indeed often mentioned and discussed during filming. The horses are all well trained and used to drones, cameras, booms etc... Though Jess has been known to have a nibble of a giant fluffy mic that got too close! In 2020 I worked with Scottish presenter Paul Murton using Monty and Connie to undertake a horse back journey. Click the heading to see a clip!
In the summer of 2022 I was lucky to work with presenter Sophie Morgan where they visited the yard and filmed for 3 days. It was an amazing experience and Sophie has become a dear friend.
Horseman Documentory
Working with an amazing couple both had PTSD. I used horses as a means of therapy and also undertook an overnight camping trip with horses in the late summer of 2022.
Land of the Free Movie
During a few cold winter days in late 2021 Connie and Jess were used as the horses on a western movie filmed near Fort William.
